The trees outside my window give me something to look up to.
I get lost in their old limbs inspecting each leaf,
patiently waiting for them to teach me their ways.
I can’t live without them, but they will go on without me.
I found God in the trees
patiently waiting for our love and devotion,
and the moment we’ll realize –
we are all trees creating air we collectively breathe.
What is in the air?
